Hello, my name is Maire and I'm from Northren Ireland.

I arrived in Moscow from the Czech Republic where I taught as a senior teacher for a large English school in Plzen.

1 to 1 teaching is my speciality but I also have a lot of experience in Cambridge exam preparation including F.C.E C.P.E and BEC Vantage.

During my time Plzen I also taught English to a group of pre-school children and delivered workshops to 13 - 15 year olds in a local secondary school. I designed and delivered a training course in telephone skills for a local company. This involved teaching the necessary skills for individuals to deal with international telephone enquiries.

I have an Honours degree in History and a diploma in teaching from Manchester Metropolitian University. I'm a qualified English teacher with over 3 years experience having gained my CELTA in 2007.

As part of my last job in the U.K. I taught ESOL classes to immigrant parents and children. The classes were very well attended and sucessful.

Whilst in my native town of Derry (Northern Ireland) I was involved in the MacCafferty School of Music, teaching singing to 5 - 15 year olds. As you can see I have experience working and teaching all age groups.

I enjoy the challange of living and working abroad and have lived in Greece, Holland, the U.S and the U.K. and bring a lifetime of experience to my lessons.

Hello, my name is Nick and I am a British citizen from Birmingham, England. I am a qualified teacher with several years experience. I gained a Cambridge CELTA teaching certificate in 2006 and since then I have taught in England, the Czech Republic and now, since July 2010, in Moscow. I have experience of teaching both General and Business English and I have taught exam preparation classes for the Cambridge suite of exams – FCE, CAE and BEC.

I have taught students of all abilities, from beginner to advanced and I have a lot of experience of 1 : 1 teaching, which I like because it gives the teacher the opportunity to tailor a course of lessons to suit the needs of the individual. I favour the Communicative approach to Language Teaching, with lots of speaking, role plays, games and activities. I believe that students learn best when their abilities are challenged in a friendly and supportive environment. I am from a science background with an honours degree in Computer Science from the University of Wolverhampton.

Prior to becoming a teacher I spent more than 20 years in the software development industry, latterly as a Business Systems Analyst. I worked on a lot of projects during my time in the I.T. Industry and in the process gained a broad knowledge of business processes across many industry sectors including Finance, Manufacturing, Engineering, Energy and Retail. I have found this experience to be invaluable in my teaching career so far. I have a wide range of interests and I can converse intelligently on most subjects. Миюки родилась и выросла в Японии (префектура Чиба, город Итикава). Она окончила филологический факультет Университета Сока (г. Токио). Также педагог участвовала в программе по обмену студентов и обучалась в Дальневосточном Государственном Университете. После получения высшего образования Миюки некоторое время работала в туристических компаниях организатором отдыха японских туристов в России, гидом в Японии для туристов из России, позже - при посольстве Украины в Токио переводчиком и гидом для русскоязычных групп.
Миюки преподает японский язык с 2005 года, преимущественно индивидуально, использует как русские издания, так и книги японских авторов. Программу обучения педагог подбирает индивидуально, в зависимости от пожелания учеников: преподает обще-разговорный курс, бизнес-курс, имеет опыт подготовки к экзамену Нихонго Норёку Сикэн.
